Halada’s The Complete Miner’s Guide 3.0 (Extended)

17 Mar

With my head cleared a bit after the push for the Orca, I went looking to see if Halada (/bows) had something in the works for updating what is IMHO the singularly most useful and highest quality Eve guide ever produced.  Apparently, Halada’s gone insane and is broadening the “extended” version of the guide to cover the following topics:

√ 1. INTRODUCTION
√ 2. MINING
√ 3. MANUFACTURING
√ 4. RESEARCH
x 5. INVENTION
x 6. STARBASES
x 7. OUTPOSTS
x 8. MARKET & TRADING
x 9. EXPLORATION
x 10. RESOURCES
x 11. CREDITS

Note, the sections marked with an X will be forthcoming (sometime in April, we hope), but all the delicious mining goodness you’d expect is already available updated for the Apocrypha expansion.  You can find version 3.0 of the guide here.

A billion thanks to Halada for his continuing epic efforts.  I can’t wait for the rest of the guide.

Man I’m glad you posted this. I just started EVE yesterday, and I have a feeling that this will be quite useful! Thanks for the link.

    Welcome Veksar!

Check out Crazy Kinux’s site too (on the blog roll). Lots of links to other good stuff there too.

3 other mandatories (Google and you’ll find links easily):

Eve Mon (offline training planning tool/item/ship/skill browser)
Eve Fitting Tool (allows you to see what modules your characters can actually fit on a ship before you buy)
Ombey’s Eve Maps (though he’s leaving Eve, they are extremely useful)

Also check out corpmate the Ancient Gaming Noob’s site tagn.wordpress.com for his extremely helpful chronicling of Eve noobness.

Thanks I’ll definately take a look at those when I get a chance, and as for The Ancient Gaming Noob I’ve been following his and your blog, along with several others since I discovered the Shut Up We’re Talking podcast a short time ago.
I have to say I’m pretty hooked on this blogging thing now … it’s cutting into my game time! >_<
